OBJECTIVES
OF THE DIVISION
To provide an
efficient services to all government Departments and Ministries,
represent the Treasury and the State Accounts Department at the
Committee of Public Accounts, (COPA) in the parliament.
KEY ACTIVITIES:-
- Represent the
COPA in parliament and sought explanation from Departments and
Ministries and prepare for COPA meeting.
- Attend to all
audit queries related to Department of State Accounts. And sending
reply in time. Coordinate audit queries on National Accounts of
all the departments and Ministries.
- Approval and
Supervision of,
1. Foreign Pensions for Malaysia, Singapore.
2. Crown Agent Pensions for British pensioners.
3. Payment
of pension to Sri Lankan pensioners in India and settling.
- Forwarding
indents to Crown Agents and Government procurements from Crown
Agents
- Supervision of
transport and vehicle maintenance, accounting activities, Supply
and stores activities of the State Accounts department.
