OBJECTIVES OF THE DIVISION
- Ensure error
free functionality of installations of Government Accounting
Software (mainly CIGAS Accounting and GPS Payroll) in Central
Government and provincial Council Ministries, Departments and
their Sub Units.
- Ensure
continuous analysis and improvements to government computerized
accounting system and procedures to meet changing needs,
necessitated by new budget procedures, new accounting policies,
new ministries, new ideas of users etc.
- Ensure
maintenance of software and database system installed in the
Department of State Accounts for collection and monitoring of
monthly accounts from Ministries, Departments and internal units
of Department of State Accounts and production of management
information reports for cash and debt management operations to
suit dynamically changing budgeting and accounting systems.

STAFF
This Division comprises one Director, one Assistant Director,
four programmers and three other staff.
